Hye there! It's me...
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Hello everyone! It's me, Khadijah. Let me introduce myself first okay? So, I was born on 2nd September of 2000 and now I'm 19 already, yay! Ohh, almost forgot to tell you that I live at Kuala Berang, Terengganu. If you happen to go there in the future, just drop me a message hahaha maybe we can meet if I'm free at that time, who knows right>,< Next, I have 12 siblings wow (Yeah I aware that I have a really big family:) Currently, I'm a first-year student in International Islamic University Malaysia, majoring in Arabic Language & Literature.
Okay, now I'll talk about my hobby. I have one hobby that I love doing since small which is reading. I love reading books that suit my soul the most. It is most likely to be books about life, reality, motivation or some religious books (Currently reading the book written by Lesley Hazleton titled "The First Muslim" and one more from Adnin Roslan titled "Surat Untuk Orang Yang Putus Asa"). I don't really like fiction books but do consider reading some that look interesting (I have one as my favourite which is "A Million Ways Home" by Dianna Dorisi Winget). But actually, I also love doing one more thing in my life. Guess what? Haha, of course, it is sewing! Yeah sewing is one of the things that I really enjoy doing it not like cooking haha>,< Although sometimes I find that sewing is difficult but recently I realized that sewing actually helps me release my tensions, I always feel good and much more relax each time after I'm done sewing something. Disclaimer: I'm not a good sewer though, still need to learn and improve more and more, pray for me okay since I really have passion for sewing, thank you and love you!
Throughout my studies, I have done a few assignments that are highly related to Islam in general. Firstly, during foundation studies, I'd done research about "Sabr" under Islamic revealed Knowledge's subject. As a result, I was able to understand the importance of patience in Islam especially during delivering da'wah towards others. Next, this is my current project under 'Ulum al-Qur'an's subject which is about "Penghayatan al-Quran dalam Kehidupan Bermasyarakat". I was required to do an interview with an Islamic officer at Pusat Agama Islam Daerah Gombak which from this interview I got to know about how far Muslims in Malaysia have practised Al-Quran in their life. Besides, I got to know what are the roles of Pejabat Agama Islam in helping society to become a better Muslim. I also got to know what were their actions in order to instil the love towards al-Quran. As a result, I knew that Muslims nowadays especially in Malaysia were less making al-Quran as their reference in daily life. So, we as a khalifah in this world must make sure not to neglect al-Quran based on hadis Prophet Muhammad PBUH, "I have left two matters with you. As long as you hold to them, you will not go the wrong way. They are al-Quran and the Sunna of His Prophet."
Lastly, I would like to share one of my favourite quotes before I end this blog,
"Truth wasn't always soft and fuzzy and warm, sometimes it was cold and hard as steel. But whether it was easy to hear or not, truth was truth."
That's all from me, Thank you so much for reading!
