My Project :)

- COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROJECT -

For this Usrah Budi 4, I was assigned to do a community engagement project where I need to create 3 pieces of bookmarks consisting of three of my favourite quotes, Qur’anic verses, and hadith. Then, I must print it and distribute it to 3 different individuals. I decided to share it with one of my sisters, my roommate, and a TESL student from Kulliyyah of Education. Here are the bookmarks I created for them:

I let my sister and my roommate choose the bookmark they want and then explained to each one of them about the bookmarks I created.

For my sister, it is one of the forty hadiths of an-Nawawi regarding a piece of advice about being angry. For my roommate, she chose the one with the du’a of Prophet Musa a.s. from Surah al-Qasas, Verse 24, which is a very recommended du’a to be practised in our daily life. Lastly, for the TESL student, I give her the quote one, which I included the quote from one of the founders of UiTM, Tun Arshad Ayub. I am always inspired by his story, so I shared one of his words in my bookmark.

I am very glad they like those bookmarks 💕 I hope it will be very beneficial for them <3


-SUGGESTIONS AND REFLECTION-

        This Usrah Budi 4 will be my last Usrah Budi as an undergraduate at International Islamic University of Malaysia. I am happy as I got to learn many new things through Usrah Budi sessions though it has been a bit tough because of the Covid-19 pandemic, but Alhamdulillah everything went well. I hope other students will get benefits from Usrah Budi too. Lastly, I would like to thank all my instructors from Usrah Budi 1 until 4, they did a very good job for all of our sessions.
