- REFLECTION -
For this semester, I joined Usrah Budi 3: Section 204, which is conducted by Sr. Khadijah Hanani. From this Usrah, I gained a lot of benefits such as I learnt a lot of new knowledge especially through the group presentations and the sharing sessions which I might not be able to get it from reading books. Our instructor is very awesome, she made every session of this Usrah Budi very very very interesting. I am always excited and look forward to our sessions because she never disappoints us with her sharing. I also respect her efforts in making beautiful and very informative slides for every session. I learnt a lot of new things, both directly and indirectly.
Besides, I befriended new people and also improved my social skills especially while completing our group assignment. I really like my fellow classmates for this Usrah because they all are very friendly and always responsive in every session. Other than that, from this Usrah, I learnt how to be a good Muslim, this Usrah session also helped me increase my knowledge of Islam.
My most favourite memory along the Usrah for this semester is the sharing from my classmates in the WhatsApp group especially during the first session where we need to introduce ourselves. I love their sharing very much, we have many classmates from different countries and it made me feel very happy to learn about their countries and their cultures. I would like to thank them for their beautiful and meaningful sharings.
Now I would like to thank our instructor, Sr. Khadijah Hanani who is very kind, supportive, friendly and understanding towards us despite all the inconveniences and difficulties that we faced this semester, especially since the mode of learning for this semester is still online. She even let us choose whether to have synchronous or asynchronous sessions. I would like to be in her class again later when I take the Usrah Budi 4. She is very good, very awesome. I couldn't thank her enough for always making Usrah Budi an interesting and anticipated session every week. I also like how her every week sharing always reminded us to muhasabah ourselves and always strive to be a better person in our life.
Lastly, Usrah Budi 3 is a very good and beneficial platform to help us reflect and improve ourselves to be better Muslims in the future.
- ASSIGNMENT -
We have a group project which is for community engagement. For this assignment, we decided to make an informative poster titled "How to Fight against Nafs". I really like this topic as I gained new knowledge while doing this assignment. For my part, I did the subtopic 'Ways to Fight Nafs'. Here is the poster:
